PE Bjørdal was established in 1907 and with more than 110 years  history it is one of the cornerstone companies in the Ørsta community.

Bjørdal has always had a strong customer focus and have together with the fishermen and fish farmers developed both competence, products and quality mentality since the 1980's -
this is the background for our slogan "Quality is our brand"

It is a genuine objective for Bjørdal owners and management that Bjørdal is a workplace where the employees, the people, look forward to meet every day and enjoy the work.
As guidance for the continuous work of maintaining and strengthening the culture, there are defined a set of core values to remind us what we shall be known for and what we shall strive for.
In Norwegian; the initials of each value forms the acronym KART - MAP in english - being the roadmap for our cultural work.

K - Competence - The Bjørdal management and team shall be known for having the right competence for delivering the quality that our customers expect.

A - Ambitious - Bjørdal shall develop new products, solutions and technology that enables our customers to deliver premium quality seafood products produced in a sustainable way.
Bjørdal shall also develop the supply chain and own production in order to be the most competitive supplier of high quality products.

R - Respect - Bjørdal management and team shall work in a respectful way both internally and externally. Bjørdal shall maintain and develop a culture were all employees are included.

T - Safety - The Bjørdal working environment shall be safe, clean and efficient and strive for the wellbeing of the employees, value for the shareholders and not least - our customers.
We shall keep our promises.
With Safety is also a duty to secure the HSE for our employees, our customers and suppliers.
